LEADING THE NATION IN COGNITIVE PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT

Our goal is to make the US and the world a better place through the application of novel cognitive performance improvement technologies for Federal customers by improving Human Performance in operations, training, and medical applications.

Welcome to BRC's Active Cognitive Load Reduction Team

As BRC's Active Cognitive Load Reduction (aCLR) team, we fully understand the challenges faced by the DoD, Military Services, National and Military Intelligence Agencies, NASA, FAA, and other government agencies.

Strengthen Warfighters' Cognitive Performance

With the proliferation of more and more electronic multimedia displays to support operations, soldiers are experiencing the negative effects of high cognitive load. These effects include physical and mental fatigue, confusion which, if not dealt with correctly, can seriously degrade soldier performance and survivability. Currently, cognitive load theory suggests the reduction of the amount and complexity of information shown on these displays to solve the problem; however, this is rarely an option for the military. Using innovative new discoveries that are fully patented by BRC, the aCLR team can provide far superior solutions for our customers and the warfighters in the Defense Department.
